Chef Pascal Courtin,


An acclaimed gourmet Chef and pastry artist specialized in French and International Cuisine, Pascal Courtin is the corporate Chef of Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc.


Pascal was born in 1967 in the heart of Bordeaux, France’s fabled wine region. After earning several certifications in gastronomy and restaurant management from the Culinary School of Bordeaux and certification in oenology from La Tour Blanche, Pascal trained extensively at Claude Darroze, the celebrated restaurant which boasts a one-star Michelin rating.

 

Pascal has served in executive posts for a number of renowned restaurants and dignitaries. He achieved particular distinction while in the private employ of the artist, le Baron Alain de Condé. The last of a line of the royal Condé family of France, le Baron has long been a fixture in Bordeaux society and is one of its most celebrated hosts. During that appointment, Pascal has the pleasure to serve a colourful list of luminaries including la Baronne Nadine de Rothschild, Maurice Druon and Hubert de Givenchy.

 

Today, Pascal is still developing new recipes after many travels with the late Billionaire Liquor Baron Sidney E. Frank, creator of Grey Goose Vodka.
